Newsletter #2: Questions Answered From A Psychic's Perception

Everyday I meet many wonderful people and, during the course of our visits I am asked some fascinating questions. I love providing answers to these questions, which of course are from a “psychic’s perception”.

Question:

Hi Karen:

Last week my sister and I had our first readings with you – thank you very much for the sessions.

My question pertains to the tape that you made of my session. When I went home to play it, I discovered that there were funny little “thump-thump” noises on the tape. Actually, the sound reminded me of a heartbeat. It didn’t last long, about 30 seconds but it showed up in two separate places. At first I thought it might have been an old tape but I distinctly remember that you took the wrapper off, and inserted a brand new tape into the machine.

When I mentioned it to my sister, she said that she had the same sound on her tape. But this is the freaky part; it only sounded on our tapes when we spoke about Dad – who passed almost five years ago.

What was that?

Hello Sharon:

The first time I heard the sounds, I too was ”freaked out”. Actually, the first time I heard about the extra sounds on a tape I didn’t believe it, and like you wondered if it was a defective tape.

I had just given a young woman a reading with her boyfriend, sitting in on her session. Usually, this doesn’t occur because I tend to get confused as to whom I am reading when more than one are in the room. However, he had promised to pay close attention and would let me know if I was reading him by mistake.

As the reading progressed, I noticed that one of my legs became increasingly sore. At one point the pain was almost unbearable. I kept asking the young woman about the significance of a sore leg but she couldn’t place it and, eventually I just worked through it. (Through experience I have come to learn, that any physical sensation I experience during a reading either belongs to the person being read or to someone that they knew that had passed.)

On their way home they plugged the tape into the cassette player in their vehicle only to be shocked as they listened to the sounds of moaning and groaning – the type of sounds one would make while in terrible pain. (These were sounds that we did not hear while together during the reading.) This was the point when the boyfriend remembered that his grandfather had passed with cancer – that started in his leg. I believe the tape had actually picked up on the sounds from the spirit of his grandfather, trying to connect with his grandson in the physical realm, by using a physical sensation that would trigger the memory of him.

Since that time, I’ve heard of lots of different sounds the tapes have picked up. The most common sound appears to be what your tape presented, which I have come to call the “heartbeat”. One lady noticed that it only appeared on her tape when we spoke of her deceased brother. Another person said it ran so loud through his entire tape that he could hardly hear the words we spoke during the session.

The tape recorder has also picked up on voice changes which, we do not hear during the session. So far, my voice has changed into a man’s voice as well as a child’s voice. There is even a taped session which, has not only my voice changing but the person’s voice being read changing - from two adult women into two little girl voices - but only during a specific portion of our discussion.

Perhaps the tape that was the most enlightening was the one made while reading a friend. When she gave me the tape to listen to afterwards, there was a significant section where my voice was extremely masculine. When we listened closely – we could hear at least four other people talking during the session (and there were only two of us in the room during the reading). It sounded as if they were talking from a great distance and information was being passed down a line with me being the last part of the transmission. The words being spoken were incredibly positive and loving but it did sound as if the words were being transmitted through lots of static or energy of some kind. I thought the sounds were comparable to talking underwater (if it were possible). This was the reading that explained why I become confused when more than one person is in the room during a session.

Since I was uncertain as to what the sounds were on the tape, I did the most natural thing a psychic can do … and took a reading of the tape. From the reading, I learned that each person has what is referred to as a “soul family”. These are individuals that have been released from the body or flesh (because they have died) and have become pure, loving energy. They form a bond with individuals that are still in the physical world (living people like us) so that they can either learn or assist that individual with their life journey. When more than one person sits in on a reading, then more than one “soul family” joins the session, which is comparable to many people talking all at the same time and, this becomes way too much for my poor little head to absorb – thus confusion on my part.

So, there you go Sharon – a very lengthy way of saying that the sounds on your tape, as well as your sister’s, came from your father. What a beautiful way of sending a message of everlasting life and love, from father to daughters, through the symbolism of the heart.
